In June of last year, Gwynplaine Films short film "Bike" was exhibited at the Phoenix Awards at the Britsh Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) in London, an awards ceremony focused specifically on rising talent. The film was also nominated in the "best film" category at the awards.
